Kenya is consistently losing a typical of 100 of its 2,000 lions in view of creating human settlements, growing developing, natural change and disease, according to the Kenya Wildlife Service. 

"Lions have a special place in Kenyans' occupation and insurance attempts," said Paul Udoto, an agent for the affiliation.

There were 2,749 lions in Kenya in 2002 and their masses dropped to 2,280 by 2004 and to pretty nearly 2,000 today, as demonstrated by KWS figures.

Dry season has pushed lions closer to waterholes near to human settlements, which themselves are growing at "high rates", as showed by KWS.
